Get Strong. With a Plan That's Actually Built for You.
After having a baby, your core feels like a stranger, your pelvic floor doesn't quite feel like yours anymore, and you're navigating everything from back pain and hip tightness to leaking when you sneeze. You want to move, you want to feel strong again — you're just not sure how to do it safely or where to begin.
-
Designed for postnatal moms who are new or returning to exercise. Each session feels like personal training, in a small-group setting.
We build on the fundamental movement patterns your body uses every day: squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling, and carrying. Sound familiar? That's because you're already doing all of these things — picking up your baby, getting off the floor, lifting a stroller into the trunk. And yes — stronger glutes makes pushing that stroller up a San Francisco hill significantly more manageable!
We'll begin by scheduling a short 20-30 minute virtual or in-person strategy session the week before the program starts. During this intro session, you’ll have the option to go through a short movement assessment, discuss goals, and/or chat about anything specific to your fitness needs.
From there, we meet twice a week for 45-minute strength training sessions. The goal is simple: to build a strong foundation that grows with you. Because when your body is strong, everything feels more possible, and that's a feeling we want you to carry long after the series ends.

What People Are Saying
“I’d describe Pilar’s coaching style as supportive, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive—especially when it comes to training during pregnancy and post-partum. She really meets you where you’re at, adjusts everything to how your body is feeling, and makes you feel safe while still helping you get stronger. It feels like having someone fully in your corner who understands the journey and knows exactly how to guide you through it.”
— Chloe F.
(Former client)When I started, I was looking to get stronger again after having my toddler and not getting back into exercise right away postpartum. After about three months of working together, I feel so much stronger both physically and mentally. Our sessions have helped me stay consistent, motivated, and reminded me to prioritize myself again. She is amazing, knowledgeable, and so easy to connect with. Our sessions are full of laughter, but also a seriously great workout. I actually look forward to each session now, which is such a big change for me. Before this, going to the gym or even thinking about a workout felt dreadful, and I would always procrastinate.
I really appreciate how she listens, adjusts each workout based on what my body needs that day, and creates such a supportive and encouraging environment.

( Client)“Pilar is an exceptional trainer all around! She knows functional movement - integrating different movement patterns, strength, and mobility seamlessly into every workout session- gives excellent cues, and will help you find the variation of each exercise to meet your body where you’re at. I’m learning so much from Pilar about how to engage my body functionally and energetically, and finding the sweet spot of how to push myself but not drain myself of energy. On top of it all, Pilar is SO fun and inspiring, and brings her whole self to workout sessions! She’s truly one of the best there is!”

(Client) “Working with Pilar has transformed my fitness journey. From being the most amazing motivator to creating fun diverse workouts, her classes have become something I really look forward to. Pilar has been very dedicated to accommodating all my injuries and always makes sure to check in making me feel very supported. I can’t recommend her enough. Her classes have become more than a place to workout for me but a place to strengthen, heal and even build community.”

FAQ
-
You don't need a fitness baseline to join. We start with a strategy session to assess where you are and build from there — you'll never be thrown into something your body isn't ready for.
-
Every program is built around your specific body and history. We address core reconnection, pelvic floor awareness, and load management. I work within my scope of practice and I'm trained to recognize when a referral to a pelvic floor PT or other specialist is the right call. If something doesn't feel right, we modify.
-
Babies are welcome. This is a mom-first space and we get it — childcare falls through, naps don't happen, life is unpredictable.
To keep your baby safe during class, please make sure they stay in their carrier, car seat, or on a mat — away from any equipment throughout the session.
-
Two sessions a week is the minimum effective dose for building real strength and momentum — and it's built into the program intentionally. Sometimes life gets busy, so consistency over perfection is what we’re going for. If scheduling feels like a real barrier, reach out before signing up, and we'll talk it through.
